Gold Vines Jeannie Bottle examples below!
 
 

The gold vines bottle designs are painted directly on the bottle,  it is not painted black first. The bottle on the TV show had the design painted directly on the bottle and that is why I paint it like this, so you have one similar to the TV show prop! The first season was filmed in black and white, so they used this design that first season they shot the series! Some artists use one layer of gold paint. That is too easy. The leaves look flat with no dimension. I first use a liquid gold leaf paint for the flat surfacing of the leaves. Then I paint over the leaves again with a thicker metallic gold paint, to give the bottle leaves that nice dimension. The end effect is a classy stand out piece of art.

Below is an original prop bottle that was up for auction on Profiles In History. Next to it is my rendition of the bottle with the antique green wash added. In the book Dreaming Of Jeannie, it is said they used a green wash to tone down the gold from the studio lights and to possibly make it look aged as well. Note: Green wash added is 20.00 extra.
